(I) *Brutiful Quality Quotation:

“Above all, trust your intuition to know if you are going in the right direction”

~James W. Pennebaker (Expressive Writing ~ Words that Heal)

*I am working daily on cultivating stillness to listen to the voice of my intuition. One way in which I have accomplished this has been to utilize my morning meditation as a time to listen for what work I should immerse myself in immediately afterwards rather than having a set plan.

This has allowed for some profound insights into healing from my past using journaling, & ways to be more effective /w my time by working on the things that matter most to progress my purpose in life.

(II) Paradigm Expanding TED Talk:

Why specializing early doesn’t always mean career success | David Epstein & ~ Range: Why Generalists Triumph in a Specialized World

This book & subsequent talk came into my life during an integral period of transition, I had just been fired from my job, my parents were getting divorced, & I was contemplating what on earth my path in life might be.

Through David’s case studies & investigation into the path to mastery, I was given peace of mind that my journey of exploration into many interests, or “sampling”, was all leading towards my calling in life.

To live the life of a polymath, to be a financially stable Modern Renaissance Man, & looking to take advantage of the best learning opportunities as they are presented.

(III)IrnMind~Forge:

1. Do not place yourself in situations where your value isn’t seen. If you find yourself in one, extract yourself from it. Instantly. Only those who value you should have the privilege of your company.

2. We teach people how to treat us by the actions that we allow. Do you enable shitty behaviour, or do you (gracefully) speak up and provide individuals with the opportunity to grow?

3. Your self-respect has got to be stronger than your feelings. If it’s not yet there, train your brain. In each moment you have the choice to own your worth and re-wire your neural pathways. Thirty days is all it takes to cultivate new habits that are literally embedded in your brain.

4. When you fuck up (and you will fuck up at times, because your human), own it. Apologise, hear the other person, then actively work together to clear the space & create a new way of relating. All conflict is an opportunity to go deeper. So long as both parties are willing.

5. Self-control and self-regulation are the greatest skills you will ever learn in (both personal and professional) life. If you’re not taking ownership of situations, you’re allowing them to own you. (Playing victim isn’t endearing. It’s exhausting.)

6. Yes, unconditional love can transform people, but there are times when (in fully loving yourself) it is best to love unconditionally from afar.

7. Don’t be swayed by the way you want things to be. See it as it is. This renders deep peace as it alleviates suffering by cultivating presence.

8. Fall in love with actions, not words. Everything is information. If someone says something but their actions consistently show otherwise, ask yourself if the situation is serving you. If it’s not, give the opportunity for people to level up. If they don’t, leave.

9. Know what you want. Most people don’t get what they want because they don’t know what they want. Once it’s clear, don’t be swayed off your path.

10. Don’t stop believing in magic. Raise your standards, not your walls.

(IV) Brutiful Learning as of Late

Vlog #38 (Purposeful over Practical)

(V) Profound (Qu)? to (Ponder/Journal) Upon:

(Qu)? *Where in your day could you be intentional about making time for stillness to listen & connect to your intuition?
